Deep Roots didn't start at a register. It started on a production floor at fifteen, manufacturing fertilizers and hydroponic systems, learning what goes in the bottle and why.
Thirty years later, that's still how we recommend things: by what your plants will do with it, not by what's on sale. We opened in Sebastopol in 2006 and have been on Gravenstein Highway since, serving first-time gardeners and licensed operations alike.

Do I need to call before I come in?
No. Walk in any day we're open. If you're making a trip for one specific product, a quick call confirms it's on the shelf and gets you current pricing.
How does the CO2 exchange work?
Bring in your empty tank and swap it for a filled one from our inventory. We keep multiple sizes staged so you're in and out in minutes. Setting up a new room? We can supply the tanks and help you size CO2 for the space. More on CO2 refills.
Do you deliver?
Yes. Soil by the pallet, bulk media, and full room build-outs can be delivered. Call with your address and what you need and we'll sort out the details.
I've never grown before. Is this the right shop?
It's exactly the right shop. A big part of what we do is walking new growers through a first setup: what to grow in, what to feed, what to skip. You'll leave with the right handful of products, not a cart full of guesses.
Do you work with commercial operations?
Yes. Commercial customers come to us for pallet quantities of soil and media, CO2 supply for whole rooms, grow room design, and delivery. Call to talk through your volume.
What if you don't carry what I need?
We'll special order it. Tell us the product and we'll bring it in.
Can I order online?
We're a walk-in shop. The fastest way to check stock or pricing is to call, then come pick it up the same day.
